Join Professionals in the City for 8 days, 7 nights in Ireland. Explore Dublin, Galway, and Killarney at the height of their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations!

Take a week to experience one of the most exciting times to be in this beautiful country of rolling green hills and shoreline cliffs that offer some of the most spectacular views of nature known. We will immerse ourselves in the exciting celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in its origin country. Let the locals welcome you with open arms and a delicious pint as you embark on a journey filled with popular pubs and once in a lifetime experiences.

We will visit Ireland’s capital, Dublin where we will be treated to one of Ireland’s most famous beers, Guinness. We will enjoy our tasty beverage on a Storehouse tour in this beautiful capital. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy many more green beers in Killarney for their St. Patrick’s Day parade. During this celebration, everyone is Irish. Join us in celebrating the talents and achievements of the Irish people while grabbing a pint with the locals as they set out to make you feel the excitement and creativity their country has, not only during this momentous time, but throughout the year as well.

While in Galway, we can take time to see the stunning Oceanside cliffs that we all picture in our heads when thinking of Ireland. With a great arts and music scene, mixed in with some popular pubs and farmers market, Galway will offer us a chance to integrate ourselves with Irish culture.

Our time in Killarney gives us a chance to see the rich history of Ireland. Fought over since the bronze era, this southern Irish port is home to some of the most beautiful monuments in the country, able to be enjoyed by tourists year-round. Highlights of this ancient city include castles, forts, stunning gardens and of course, the Killarney Brewhouse Tour.

YOUR ITINERARY:

March 13th: Arrive into the Dublin airport and start off your trip with a tour of the Guinness Storehouse of Dublin, where your first pint of this fine Irish stout is included with admission. Here you will learn the long history of advertising and crafting that is involved with making this brew loved worldwide. Find out the perfect way to pour a Guinness and enjoy it on the seventh story of this amazing structure with a 360-degree view of Dublin.

After loading up on Guinness memorabilia, transfer to your hotel to check in before your welcome dinner with your guide. After a delicious meal, venture out on a group pub crawl through Dublin where your first pint is on us. Get acclimated to the energy of this widely celebrated country in the heart of the country that does it best. Let the cheer and excitement take over and use this night to get into the holiday spirit.

March 14th: Wake up to a traditional Irish breakfast at your hotel before setting off to Galway. Upon arrival and check in to our hotel, the day is yours to venture through the town to enjoy a few Irish pints and the art and culture throughout Galway. Galway has many things to do for all types of people. Take a horseback ride through the country, experience one of their many golf courses or take a short trip out to sea for some cod fishing. You can also head to the Galway airport for a daring perspective of the seaside town by skydiving over the gorgeous scenery.

March 15th: Wake up to a traditional Irish breakfast at the hotel before setting off to explore Galway. Meander the streets filling your bags with souvenirs, as much green gear as possible and booze to last for ages. You can also take today to sit back and enjoy the town at one of the nearby cafes while sipping an Irish coffee and soaking in the atmosphere of the upcoming holiday closing in.

Take this opportunity to sign up for our optional full day tour to explore the Connemara region and Kylemore Abbey. Founded in 1920 by nuns who fled Belgium during World War I, The Kylemore Abby is a monastery that is situated on a serene lakeside with stunning gardens and beautiful paths that will relax even the most tense with a short stroll. This is an opportunity to see just a little of Ireland’s hidden lush green beauty that expands through this 1000-acre estate. Or sign up for a tour to one of the Aran Islands, Inis Mor where tourist can see huge limestone cliffs and an array of Christian, pre-Christian and Celtic monuments that are scattered across the jagged rocks.

March 16th: After a traditional Irish breakfast we depart for Killarney. Along the way we will stop at Ireland’s most visited natural attraction, the Cliffs of Moher. Some of these cliffs soar over 700 feet above sea level and offer a view of crystal clear waves crashing on Ireland’s coast. Home to the site of an ancient 1st century fort, the cliffs are widely used for aerial shots in many movies and support stunning views of the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, the Twelve Pins and, on a clear day, the Maum Turk mountains in Connemara.

After our arrival in Killarney we will check into the hotel and process the beautiful sites we saw along the way, then set off for a Killarney Brewing Company tour for a pint or 2 and to see how this delicious brew was made.

March 17th: Today is the day! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! After breakfast, we set out to enjoy the Killarney festivities and St. Patrick’s Day parade. We will deck you out in St. Patty’s Day garb before you join the locals as they celebrate their culture and history through extravagant performances and lively music. This parade tops all others for this widely celebrated holiday and is considered one of the most colorful and diverse. The rest of the day is yours to integrate with the locals, explore Killarney and get as green as possible. Ask your guide for pub and food suggestions.

March 18th Enjoy a rejuvenating Irish breakfast at the hotel and do some exploring of Killarney in the morning if you haven’t had enough from yesterday. This welcoming western city is located next to a clear lake and vibrant countryside, but also has its fair share of comfortable pubs that offer entertainment through the day and night.

Today we will head out on a tour of the Ring of Kerry. This unspoiled region of Ireland draws tourists year-round for some of the most spectacular view of nature Ireland has to offer. This tour is a photographer’s dream. We will see gorgeous beaches on calm lakes, winding mountain roads, astonishing architecture throughout the scattered towns and villages, panoramic views of lakes, mountains and many shades of green.

March 19th Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and some early morning shopping and exploring of Killarney. We will hop on an early afternoon transfer to Co. Claire, which will allow us to view the stunning countryside from our comfortable coach. Check into the hotel and explore Co. Claire before your farewell dinner with traditional Irish dance and music entertainment.

March 20th Enjoy your traditional Irish breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to the airport for your flight back to the states. Slainte!
