Take this unbelievable opportunity to escape the winter cold of the US and head to the tropical paradise of Jamaica. This trip not only warms your bones from the frigid temperatures up north, but takes you all the way around the warm tropical island of Jamaica, visiting popular and beaches and engaging with friendly locals along the way. Get in some great snorkeling, eat some of the most amazing jerk dishes, traverse the jungle and beaches and cliff dive at one of the most iconic spots in Jamaica. Come back sun-kissed and soul-filled after our 8 day trip around Jamaica.

Day 1 - December 14th: Arrival day! Arrive at any time in Montego Bay. There are no activities planned for today other than your welcome meeting at the hotel this evening where you will meet your fellow travelers, touch base with your guide and go over the itinerary. If you arrive early enough, drop your luggage and find a spot on the beach to relax, book a tee time at one of the many golf courses, or head to Marine Park for a quick snorkel. The night is yours to grab a drink at the hotel, chat with your fellow travelers or grab some local fare at a nearby hole in the wall that boast flavor like you’ve most likely never experienced unless you have visited Jamaica before.

Day 2 - December 15th: Enjoy breakfast, then pack up and cruise to Ocho Rios, about 2 hours east on the north coast of the island. The day is yours to enjoy. Of course you can enjoy the amazing beach, but you will also have the opportunity to explore on some lush hiking trails, bargain for goods at the nearby street markets, or explore Fern Gully, a winding road with enormous ferns that form tunnels over the beaten trail. Tonight we learn more about the history and culture of the locals at an authentic Maroon Village, developed by slaves who ran from plantations to form their own community hidden away. Enjoy a Maroon feast while experiencing the culture of these people through music, dance, poetry and stories passed down through generations. Spend the night at this homestay and find out how the Maroon Villagers wind down for the evening.

Day 3 - December 16th: After an authentic breakfast with your homestay hosts, take a little more time to soak in Ocho Rios before packing up. Today we traverse the Jamaican countryside and jungle on our way south to the Reggae capital of the world, Kingston. Upon arrival, drop your bags and start enjoying the mellow vibes of Kingston. Check out the Bob Marley Museum, book a tour of Port Royal to see the stomping grounds of famous pirates, find the tastiest jerk seasoning on the island, or join a tour of the Blue Mountain Coffee tour to taste quite possibly the best coffee in the world. Get ready to dance tonight away with Kinston locals while you experience the welcoming and exhilarating nightlife in Kingston.

Day 4 - December 17th: Enjoy a free morning in Kinston before heading southwest to Treasure Beach. Upon arrival, drop your bags and visit one of the most iconic beaches in Jamaica. Dig your toes into the white sand, soak up the warm sun and swim in the crystal blue waters. Go check out the Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum and sample the ingredients they pull from the island to make this delicious cocktail rum as well as the finished product. Book a ride out to the Pelican Bar about 15 minutes off shore on a sandbar. This quaint, rustic bar is out in the middle of nowhere but offers cold Red Stripe, tasty snacks and a prime spot to watch the sunset. Tonight, visit a local watering hole, explore the beach at night or relax at the hotel.

Day 5 - December 18th: Today is your to enjoy the way you want to. Relax on the iconic beach, snorkel the area and absorb the warm sun and colorful Jamaican culture. Shop for souvenirs or take a local tour that departs right from the beach. With plenty to do in the area, cracking a Red Stripe and meandering through the nearby market might be enough adventure.

Day 6 - December 19th: Grab some breakfast at the hotel before hopping on your transfer for Negril. Enjoy the scenery as we drive along the south coast of Jamaica through quaint towns and resort homes along the way. We will cruise through White House, Savanna la Mar, Blue Fields, New Hope and Sandy Ground. Upon arrival drop your things and head out. We highly suggest grabbing a cocktail at the famous Rick’s Cafe where locals and visitors alike showcase their courage by leaping from the outstretched cliffs nearby. It’s quite a show and this cafe gets a little rowdy towards the end of the evening.

Day 7 - December 20th: Today is your chance to explore Negril. With so much designed for tourists in this amazing city, we’d feel bad limiting you to one thing. Take today and do you. Go parasailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving for lost treasure, or simply relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Sample local delicacies, mingle with the locals and stock up on souvenirs. Your tour is soon coming to an end.

Day 8 - December 21st: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before boarding our transfer for our return to Montego Bay. Your tour end upon arrival. Make your way to the airport for your flight, or head to your hotel if you are staying longer in Montego Bay. You’ve seen every coast of the island, visited the top destinations in Jamaica, immersed yourself in the culture, and tasted some local specialties. Now it is time to head home to share your amazing adventure with friends and family.

Come circle the island of Jamaica and see the top spots for a tropical getaway!
