Professionals in the City invites you to join us at our much anticipated New Year DC celebration on December 31, 2011 at the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Crystal City. There is our most anticipated event of the year each year, which is why year after year our gala sells out in advance all 3,000 tickets. This special night features live bands, DJs, and karaoke. It features a caricaturist, a henna tattoo artist, and a skilled photographer. We will have dance lessons for couples, speed dating for singles, and many more things to do New Year DC partygoers will enjoy. We will have separate bracelets for singles and couples, so you easily see who is single and who is part of a couple.

As you and thousands of other New Year DC revelers travel through the halls and in and out of the different time zones of the rooms featuring entertainment from diverse cultures, you will learn the traditions of countries from around the world. Friends, new and old alike, can have a ball dancing the night away to reggae music and steel drums in our Celebrating the Caribbean room. Experience the legendary London Underground where singles can participate in our hugely-popular speed dating event. Our Celebrating America room features dance lessons for couples and live music by the Moonlighters.

We will serve delicious fine wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails. Kick off the New Year in DC with a glass of champagne in our Kingdom of Spain nightclub as you experience the midnight balloon drop. Then, join other celebrators in the Red Light District of Amsterdam for some late-night comedy performances.

From 9 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., we will serve a New Year DC feast of stuffed turkey breast and herb roasted beef at our carving stations. We will also serve an array of pastas such as farfalle and penne primavera, as well as bruschetta and a sundry of dips to top it all off. Assorted desserts will be available to choose from, too.

Our Professionals in the City New Years Eve Gala costs runs from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. It includes dinner, 8 drink tickets per person, numerous activities, a midnight balloon drop, and late-night Red Light District comedy shows. We also offer a discounted non-food 3-^1/2 hour option that runs from 10:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. and includes 6 drink tickets per person, numerous activities, a midnight balloon drop, and late-night Red Light District comedy shows. Our New Year DC dinner, dance, and gala will be held at the newly-renovated Hyatt Regency Crystal City, located at 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway in Arlington, Virginia.
