Tonight, Professionals in the City invites people born between 1978 and 1989 to attend our Speed Dating Washington DC event tailored especially for you and your fellow Generation Y professionals.

Meet Generation Y singles in a coordinated and comfortable setting where a first date can turn into several more. Our seated singles speed dating events allow you to introduce yourself and share laughs and interests with many different singles in one eventful night.

Our Speed Dating Washington DC events bring intimacy and romance back to the art of speed dating. Although this combination may at first sound improbable, once you get involved, you will understand why this event is so highly anticipated!

About Us

Professionals in the City is a socializing and networking organization that offers professionals in major cities an opportunity to unwind, have fun, and meet people who share their interests outside of the workplace.

Established by Michael Karlan, this company sets a new standard. We strive to offer original and amazing events every single week. A typical event ranges from as few as 20 attendees to more than 2,000. We hope you will join us and thousands of other professionals for a great time.

We organize more than 1,000 great events each year to bring the local professional community together and familiarize residents with all the excitement their city has to offer. From happy hours and theme parties at the best clubs and restaurants, to embassy galas, sporting events, outdoor activities and tours, you can be sure there is something for everyone. Whether you are interested in exchanging business tips, learning something new, exploring the city, or finding friends or romance, Professionals in the City has something for you.

As a member, you'll be able to participate in a variety of entertaining activities with your fellow professionals without having to go through the trouble of doing the planning yourself. Most of our members are between the ages of 25 and 39 but professionals of all ages are welcome. In fact, we hold events specifically for people ages 21 to 29 and for people ages 35 and up.

Although we host some singles events, we are not a singles organization. Many individuals come to our events alone, with friends, spouses or significant others, or with people they have met at previous Professionals in the City events.

Becoming a member is fast and easy. All you have to do is sign up once to receive our weekly emails. From then on, membership is free and you will be kept up-to-date on all the wonderful opportunities being planned in your area.
